Nail Art Inspired by Finger Painted (blog)!

Hi guys!

I watched this video done by a blogger I really like. Her name is Lexi and her blog is linked here!

Also.... her video is linked here!

I followed some of her techniques and stuff to replicate her design and this is how it came out. I used a white by Sally Hansen and acrylic paints. For the blue nails, I used a Quo by Orly polish called Turquoise Moonlight.

Hope you enjoy! Thanks for reading.

NOTD Glitter Layering

Hi guys!!

You haven't heard from me in a while. That's simply because I've been really lazy and found it hard to be motivated to blog as frequent as I used to but I'm back today and that should be worth something!

I have a glitter manicure on today and it actually features 3 glitter toppers! It has NYC In a Minute Blackula (black base colour), CND Effects Amethyst Sparkle (purple fine sparkles), Sapphire Sparkle (blue fine sparkles) and Wet n Wild "Wild Shine" in Kaleidescope (silver hex glitter, $1 from Meijer).

It kind of reminds me of the galaxy manicures I've been seeing. It's becoming quite popular. But this requires no sponging which essentially means no need for sponges and the extra clean up! I like it alot because it's so sparkly and fun. It's an excellent recreation of galaxy nails.

There is one more thing though.... I cannot take credit for this layering combo. I must thank the most precious person in my life for coming up with this idea! I love it so much!

Hope you are all having a good day/week so far!

Essence Walk On The Wild Side

Hi guys,

I'm back today with green nails that I wore a few days ago. It's a army green colour with bright green sparkles. I'm sporting the rounded nails again because I'm in that classic kinda mood. In the picture below, I'm wearing two coats and top coat after it has been freshly painted. My Essie Good to Go is becoming old so I couldn't wear these for too long because it started to shrink at the tips.

I have on OPI Chop-Sticking to my Story right now, a choice I made because it is so quick-drying and opaque, that is to be expected of OPI polishes. You can find the post I wrote on it here.
Old Swatch =S I know, I'm a cheat

Enjoy!

Yellow Stripes

Bored one night and decided to do simple stripes on my nails. I used Sally Hansen Complete Salon in Yellow Kitty and both yellow and white striping (NOT stripping lol) polishes. You know, the ones with the thin brushes. Hope you all are having a good week so far.

China Glaze Sun Worshipper

Hi guys!!!

I only got one picture to show because honestly, the rest don't look that good. However, I'm really peeved that ALL of the pictures don't show the colour correctly! It is NOT yellow in person, not that it isn't a pretty yellow. It's just not true to real life. Anyway, I would really appreciate any comments or suggestions for what I could do to improve taking more colour honest pictures! Thank you :)

Layla Nail Polish Softouch Effect 60

Hi everyone,

When I saw this polish at Ulta, I thought it would have a normal glossy finish. But to my surprise, it turned matte! I wish it would have said so on the display or on the bottle. The wording in "Softouch" might be misleading. Nonetheless, I could add top coat for the normal glossy finish. But I opted to leave it this way.

It is a a light blue and looks somewhat green depending on the light your hands are under. It has no shimmery particles, instead it is a creme finish with no glossy-ness (unless you used top coat). This colour is perfect for spring/summer. Reminds me a little of the sea. Hope you enjoy.
