I'm disappointed in myself though. My camera doesn't want to correctly capture the true nature of this polish :( I think it's much more vibrant in real life. I just wish that my photography skills would improve. We'll see in time, I guess

China Glaze Ruby Pumps
Today's NOTD is China Glaze Ruby Pumps! It's red, bright and contains lots of glitter packed into a jelly base. I think it may be one of their bestsellers.

Urban Outfitters Nail Polish in Ringo
Highlighter nails!
I've been sort of on a hunt for an opaque highlighter shade and I think I've found it. It's opaque in 3 coats but be careful because if you don't use thicker coats it would require 4. There must be something in the pigment that causes it to be so sheer usually. Anyway, hope you enjoy!

Nfu Oh #61
Hi everyone,
I wanted to get this polish for the longest time but it was always out of stock! Back when the holographic polish was so popular, it was difficult to find in stores. I tried asking some sales associates at my local supplier (they supplied China Glaze) if they sold any holographic polishes. She had no idea what I was talking about!
Anyway, fast forward a couple weeks, I ordered mine off of fabuloustreet.com. Here is the classic silver holographic :)

China Glaze Flying Dragon
Hi everyone,
I have a neat little magenta colour for you today. It has specks of blue and purple glitter mixed in. There are some swatches that I've seen where this polish has a more deep purple shade but then mine is more pink so there must be different versions of the same China Glaze.
In these pictures, I have a 2 coats of Flying Dragon with a coat of top coat on. Enjoy!

Compilation
Hi everyone.
I've just been doing some nails related stuff the last few days but haven't gotten around to posting it on my blog. So here is a mish mash of all I've been up to.
Two nail wheels complete with some amount of nail art though I'm not very pleased with some nails. Such as the nail between the pink flowers and yellow stripe on a green background. That one bugs me. It was supposed to be tulips but looks nothing like that.
Here's my second nail wheel. This wheel was inspired by Madeline Poole, a nail artist from LA. I'll link her pic here.
And as for myself, I did the spilt nails because it's just so simple but still fun.
Thanks for looking!

And here's a set I did for a close friend of mine! I'm so glad she enjoyed it :) |

Opinion: Polish Press Samples
I will come off as bitter in this post but it is my personal opinion that it's kinda *&%&ed up. If you got something for free, it has to
affect the way you review a product. You (the person receiving something for free) bypassed the part where you
had to work for the money to pay for said product. It just always seem to me in almost any situation that people who began something from an early point of a predicated boom (i.e. the boom in nail polish blogs) are usually the ones who get the most recognition and in turn, more demand for advertisement by nail polish companies.
I sometimes wonder what position I would be in if I were sent something for free and I genuinely liked it but never got to experience what it's like to work to be able to buy something. However, I have never had an opportunity where I would receive something for free so I don't have an experience with that. It definately can't be the same as receiving polish as a gift from a friend. But if I had that experience, how would I handle it? I think I would ask myself: Would I have bought this using my own money because I genuinely like this colour? and go from there.
Usually I wouldn't even care if you got it for free but it's been bothering me with the FTC rule changes that surfaced recently. Could you maybe share some insights and rebuttals? What is your opinion on free press samples? I'm sure you all are familiar with them.
TL;DR: consumerism sux

NOTD Orly Ole
Hi everyone
I have a swatch of Orly Ole for you. It's a really basic coral. I generally dont own many of this shade but I like it because it's inbetween a pink and a red :) Enjoy.

OPI The Color To Watch
Hi guys :)
Today I've got a sheer lavender purple which has a iridescent finish. It reflects blue, pink, purple and also tinnny bits of red. In the pictures below, I have The Color to Watch on top of Essie Smokin Hot so it appears opaque. Thanks for looking and enjoy!
