Essence Nail Polish Chic Reloaded

Hi guys!

Today, I have a multi dimensional dark grey colour from Essence. I like it, It's an unsual colour which is what I gravitate towards.

Lately, I was thinking of doing a sort of base coat reviews. I've used a bunch of them over the years and most of them are ones that I heard about on blogs or youtube. I just don't know if I have enough to say about them. Maybe after I do some researcch on the products. We'll see.

That's all for today. I'll leave you with the pictures

Essence Nail Polish L.O.L

Hi everyone.

I have a new polish I bought recently. Shopper's Drug Mart is now carrying Essence products which is a European brand that is really affordable. It's great that they are now accessible in Canada :)

The colour I'm going to show you is a Lime Green creme finish. It's a relatively opaque polish. I used 3 coats. And the strange thing is the brush is one of the wide paddle ones that I'm not that fond of but it is still fairly manageable. I use Orly Bonder for a base coat. Got to try keep my nubs healthy! And Essie Good to Go top coat. Both products are finishing on me sadly.

Thank you for looking!

Past manicures Part 1

Hi everyone.

Here's some manicures I did over the year 2012 and these are going to be better quality since they were taken with my point-and-shoot camera. There is gonna be multiple posts on these hence the "Part 1."

This one was done with NYC West Village and a layering of Nfu Oh #52 I think. It was such a pretty combo! I really like dark colours and I also really like unsual colours and I also also really like multicolored polishes so this worked perfectly for me! It is just so fun to look at!

Hope you enjoy!

Moogle Nails

Hi guys!

I decided to do a design featuring one of my favourite characters of all time! They're from the Final Fantasy series and they're soooo cute! It's the moogle! Kupo!

Kupo Kupo! <3

I applied a base coat as usual. Then two coats of Wet n Wild Black Creme which I let dry. To paint the moogles, I used a fine paint brush and applied the white outlines of the moogles. Then I used, Cheeky Monkey's Man Eater as the bobble above moogle's head, OPI's Let me entertain you for the nose, Black Creme again for the eyes, then I used a Sinful Colours pink for the adorable ears. Once it was dry to touch, I added my top coat. I used Essie's Good to Go.

And that's it. Took me quite a while since I had to use alot of products and moogle's cute and fine details! Hope you enjoyed looking. While you're here, I have some more pictures for viewing!

As an added bonus, I'm gonna show u guys a design I did for these nails when I experimented with them for the the first time! You can decide whether I improved or not :P

Funky French with Color Club Fashion Addict

Hi guys!

Here's a design I did a long time ago. Sorry that my pictures aren't the best quality. I've been using my blackberry to take pictures and sometimes it can come out quite strange. But I try to choose ones that are fun to look at!

This manicure is done with Color Club Fashion Addict and clear tape. The black is Wet n Wild Balck Creme :)

OPI Barefoot in Barcelona Review and Swatch

Hi guys,

I'm new here to the nail blogging world. I hope you will like looking at my blog!

Here is a picture of OPI's Barefoot in Barcelona. I bought this polish with my sister a long time ago in Trade Secrets and we both agreed that it was such an interesting colour.

It is somewhat nude but not really because it has a taupe/brown tint to it. Yet it's so flattering. I think it would work on multiple skin tones. The best thing about it is it won't give you manequin hands! Eep.
